MISSION EMPHASIS FOR JANUARY: Sierra Service Project
The high school mission team has been attending the Sierra Service Project for the last 7 years. SSP takes teenagers to different Native American Reservations throughout California, Idaho, Nevada, and Arizona for week-long mission trips repairing homes during the summer. This year, the team will be attending the "Urban" Site in South Los Angeles where they will be repairing homes and also learning about the homeless situation that South LA faces. Your contribution to this mission helps pay for the three van rental fees. There are 20 spots available for high school youth to fill, please speak to Amy Ochoa to sign up your teenager for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Food emphasis fOR the Month
This year the Missions Committee has elected to designated a specific food each month to be provided to the Salvation Army. We are starting off the year with macaroni and cheese, of course other items are welcome as well. Please place your items in the blue bucket in the Narthex and they will be taken to the Salvation Army.
PRAYER QUILT FOR MARY NETZER
The Nurture committee has decided that Mary Netzer should have a prayer quilt as a reminder of all those who are thinking and praying for her successful surgery and long term relief from back pain. Please take a moment either before or after the service today, to tie your personal prayer knot on the quilt in the Narthex. When all the prayer knots have been tied, it will be presented to Mary.

either the Monday night class (starting tomorrow) or the Wednesday night class

March of Dimes Crop-o-Thon
Mark
your calendars you fellow scrapbookers, quilters, and crafters for an all-night
crop-o-thon on Friday, February 11 from 4pm to 12 midnight in the Social Hall.
$20 saves your seat at the event. Proceeds benefit the Victorville March of
Dimes. Dinner will be provided along with hourly door prizes and snacks

MATURANGO MUSEUM CONCERT
The Maturango Museum Concert series will be featuring our very own trio: Kristin Hall, Carol Sakai and Kathy Cummings on February 11 and 12 beginning at 7:00 pm. The concert will be held in the Sylvia Winslow Gallery of the Maturango Museum. Tickets are $10.00 and are available at the door.
Our church is also sponsoring the February Free Day at the Museum—Saturday, February 12.
UMW Valentine Cookie Sale
Time to sign up for our famous Valentine cookie boxes filled with an assortment of homemade cookies, for only $5.00. You will be able to pick up your boxes on the Sunday prior to Valentine's Day, February 13.
