MISSION EMPHASES FOR FEBRUARY: LIVING BREAD MINISTRY AND RANCHO INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES Living Bread Ministry is a program started and supported by local churches and managed by the Salvation Army. The program provides food to the needy in crisis situations in Ridgecrest and the surrounding area. Please give generously and help our community feed the hungry.
Food fOR the Month
For the month of February we are asking for Beef Stew. Of course other items are welcome as well. Some of the items that are always needed for the food pantry are: peanut butter, jelly, crackers, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, macaroni & cheese, canned vegetables, refried beans, canned fruit, cereal, chili, soup, top ramen, and tuna. Please place your items in the blue bucket in the Narthex and they will be taken to the Salvation Army.
PROJECT RIM—RANCHO INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES
Project RIM provides food relief to the people of Zimbabwe. For $5.00 you can feed a family of 4 for a month. 100% of your donation will go towards purchasing food.
PRAYER QUILT FOR CAROL CORLETT
The Nurture Committee has decided that Carol Corlett should have a prayer quilt as a reminder of all those who are thinking and praying for her successful healing from a broken femur. Please take a moment, either before or after the service today, to tie your personal prayer knot on the quilt in the Narthex. When all the prayer knots have been tied, it will be presented to Carol.
Youth Love-A-Pooloza
Tomorrow
the 14th, middle school and high school youth are invited to come and spend
Valentine's Day with their fellow youth group members from 5pm to 8pm! Bring
your non-youth groups friends to come and play video games, watch movies, and
play outside. Dinner will be provided by Cupid Catering.
UMW Valentine Cookie Sale
