The Ridgecrest United Methodist Church, with encouragement from the Missions Committee and with approval from our Administrative Council, has entered into a covenant relationship with Dr. Givens to support her work in Germany. Krista is a missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church. She serves as pastor of the International United Methodist Church in Hamburg, Germany. UMCOR - JAPAN EARTHQUAKE/TSUNAMI RELIEF
Following the 9.0 earthquake in Japan and its tsunami, the United Methodist Committee on Relilef has established Advance #302137 to receive gifts to bring aid to people injured and displaced by these truly seismic events. Please make checks out to the Ridgecrest United Methodist Church with this Advance number or "Japan Relief" on the memo line.
Food fOR the Month
For the month of March we are asking for spaghetti sauce and noodles. Of course other items are welcome as well. Some of the items that are always needed for the food pantry are: peanut butter, jelly, crackers, macaroni & cheese, canned vegetables, soup, and tuna. Please place your items in the blue bucket in the Narthex and they will be taken to the Salvation Army.
SPRING BREAK PARTY IN YOUTH GROUP TONIGHT
Kick-off your spring break right with a special party in COMBINED youth group tonight from 2:30 -4:00 pm! Bring snacks to share and clothes that you don't mind getting messy or wet in! Non youth groups friends are encourged to attend!
UMM APRIL FOOL'S DAY BANQUET
On Friday, April 1, beginning at 6:00 pm, the United Methodist Men will host an April Fool's Day Banquet, which is guaranteed to be a night of entertainment, good food and great fellowship. Tickets are available from John Anderson, Jay Hodge, John Veazey and Galen White for $15.00 ea. Come join in the fun.
TRUSTEES WORK DAY
Following the United Methodist Men's breakfast on April 2, there will be a Trustees Work day. This is the first work day of the year and we will be taking care of maintenance in and around the church. Everyone is welcome to come--there is a job for everyone.

FELLOWSHIP TIME
Each Sunday following the 8:00 am worship, everyone is invited to stay for refreshments
and fellowship time outside the Narthex. In addtion, every Sunday following the 10:30 am worship, everyone is invited to a time of fellowship in the Social Hall, southward through the campus and over the little arched bridge. Refreshments are provided. Come on over, bring a friend, and share in the fellowship!
For anyone who is hearing impaired, or if you need volume enhancement, hearing assistance is available. Please notify an usher if you would like the use of a headset.
