CALL TO WORSHIP               Psalm 103.1-12                           Hazel Hensley

One   Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

Many PRAISE THE LORD, O MY SOUL, AND DO NOT FORGET ALL HIS

          BENEFITS--

One   Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems

          your life from the pit,

Many WHO CROWNS YOU WITH LOVE AND COMPASSION;

One   Who satisfies your desires with good things,

Many SO THAT YOUR YOUTH IS RENEWED LIKE THE EAGLE’S.

One   The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.

Many HE MADE KNOWN HIS WAYS TO MOSES, HIS DEEDS

          TO THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL.

One   The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in

          steadfast love.

Many HE WILL NOT ALWAYS ACCUSE, NOR WILL HE HARBOR HIS

          ANGER FOREVER;

One   He does not treat us as our sins deserve, or repay us according to our

          wrong doings;

Many FOR AS HIGH AS THE HEAVENS ARE ABOVE THE EARTH,

          SO GREAT IS HIS LOVE FOR THOSE WHO HOLD HIM IN AWE;

One   As far as the east is from the west,

Many SO FAR HAS HE REMOVED OUR SINS FROM US. AMEN.

          Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.

          Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

          Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,

          As we forgive those who trespass against us.

          And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;

          For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever, Amen.
