CALL TO WORSHIP                Romans 5.1-8                             Diane Leveille

One   Therefore, since we have been justified through faith,

Many WE HAVE PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS

          CHRIST,

One   Through whom we have gained access, by faith, into this grace in

          which we now stand.

Many AND WE REJOICE IN THE HOPE OF THE GLORY OF GOD.

One   Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know

          that suffering produces perseverance;

Many AND PERSEVERANCE PRODUCES CHARACTER;

          AND CHARACTER PRODUCES HOPE.

One   And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love

          into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.

Many YOU SEE, AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME, WHEN WE WERE STILL

          POWERLESS, CHRIST DIED FOR THE UNGODLY.

One   Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man

          someone might possibly dare to die.

Many BUT GOD DEMONSTRATES HIS LOVE FOR US THIS WAY:

          WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US. AMEN.

THE LORD’S PRAYER                                                                   Everyone

          Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.

          Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

          Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,

          As we forgive those who trespass against us.

          And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;

          For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever, Amen.
