CALL TO WORSHIP            Johnny Baker, Romans 8                    Kristin Hall

One     Holy Spirit of God, your breath of life fills the whole world,

moves over the face of the waters, and holds all holy things together.
Many BREATHE ON ME, BREATH OF GOD.

One   You are the source of God’s creation bringing life to the world,

whole life, full life, unhindered life, indestructible life, everlasting life…

Many FILL ME WITH LIFE ANEW.

One   Where You are, there is life. Where You are, sick people are healed,

sorrowing people are comforted, and rejected people are accepted.

Many THAT I MAY LOVE WHAT YOU WOULD LOVE.

One   Help us to join with your comforting the sorrowing, healing the sick,

          welcoming strangers, and forgiving sins.

Many AND DO WHAT YOU WOULD DO.

One   Spirit of the new being, break into the here and now, bringing a fore-

taste of the age to come, when all things will be made new,

Many AND ALL CREATION WILL BE SET FREE THROUGH THE

REVEALING OF THE CHILDREN OF GOD. AMEN.
