GATHERING MUSIC

CHORAL INTROIT

WELCOME

CALL TO WORSHIP              Philippians 2.4-11                         Diane Leveille

One   Each of us should look not only to our own interests, but also

          to the interests of others.

Many OUR ATTITUDE SHOULD BE THE SAME AS THAT OF CHRIST

           JESUS:

One   Who, being in very nature God,

Many DID NOT CONSIDER EQUALITY WITH GOD SOMETHING

          TO BE EXPLOITED,

One   But made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant,

Many BEING MADE IN HUMAN LIKENESS.

One   And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself

Many AND BECAME OBEDIENT TO THE POINT OF DEATH—

          EVEN DEATH ON A CROSS!

One   Therefore God exalted him to the highest place,

Many AND GAVE HIM THE NAME THAT IS ABOVE EVERY NAME,

One   So that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow,

Many IN HEAVEN AND ON THE EARTH AND UNDER THE EARTH,

One   And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,

Many TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER. AMEN.

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,

As we forgive those who trespass against us.

For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever,        Amen.
